WHS graduate attends NC State FFA convention

CONTRIBUTED FFA PRESIDENT: Amy Arnold, a 2015 graduate of Washington High School, attended the North Carolina State FFA convention in Raleigh on June 16-18. She competed in the extemporaneous public speaking career development event and placed second in the state. Amy has served as WHS FFA chapter development event and placed second in the state. Amy has served as WHS FFA chapter president the past two years and as the Tidewater FFA Federation vice president for the past two year. She will be attending NCSU in the fall and majoring in horticulture.
