Robert Leslie “R.L.” Spruill Jr., 88, of Columbia, died Monday, March 21, 2016 at Chowan River Nursing Center in Edenton.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell. Family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home following the service and other times at the residence.
