Mrs. Marvin Toepfer, nee Estella Biermann, of Comfort, passed away Dec. 2, 2002 at the age of 65 at Vna Hospice in San Antonio.
She was born Aug. 31, 1937 in Kerr County to Walter Biermann and Hilda (Schuetze) Biermann. She married Marvin Toepfer of Comfort on July 16, 1960. She worked as a cook at a retirement home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Biermann.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Toepfer of Comfort; daughter and spouse, Lori and Gary Jaimes of Comfort; mother, Hilda (Mrs. Walter Biermann) of Comfort, and one grandson.
Funeral services were held Dec. 4 at Schaetter Funeral Home in Comfort with Rev. Sam Radoman officiating. Organists/soloists were Karen Busbee and Kristen Lindner.
Interment followed in the Comfort Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Fred Schuetze, Harry Schuetze, Ralph Lindner, Mathew Lindner, Paul Schuetze and Ethen Lindner. Honorary pallbearers were Walter Schuetze, Brian Schuetze and Rubin Ehlers.
