Mrs. Walter Biermann, nee Hilda Schuetze, 94, of Comfort, passed away Dec. 6, 2002 at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
She was born Feb. 24, 1908 in Kerr County to Frederick Schuetze and Hilda (Maetge) Schuetze.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Estella Toepfer; father, Frederick Schuetze; mother, Hilda (Maetge) Schuetze; Herbert, Paul and Rudolph Schuetze.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Marvin Toepfer; granddaughter and spouse, Lori and Gary Jaimes; great grandchild, Taylor Jaimes; and sister-in-law, Martha Lorretta Schuetze Taylor; all of Comfort.
Funeral services were held Dec. 9 at Schaetter Funeral Home, Inc. in Comfort with Lois Duewall officiating. Organist/soloists were Karen Busbee, Kristen Lindner and Annabelle Lindner. Interment followed in Comfort Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Fred, Harry and Paul Schuetze, Ralph, Mathew and Jason Lindner. Honorary pallbearers were Walter and Brian Schuetze and Rubin Ehlers.
Memorials may be made to Comfort E.M.S., the Comfort Volunteer Fire Department or the Comfort Cemetery.
