Mrs. Ethel White Robertson, 89, of Williamston died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, at IHS of Williamston.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home with the Rev. James Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Robertson was born in Martin County on Nov. 30, 1913. She was the daughter of the late James and Amanda Roebuck White. In December 1933, she married Edward Hunter Robertson, who died Sept. 23, 1991. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Everetts Christian Church.
Survivors include one son, Ed Robertson of Williamston; one daughter, Sylvia R. Westkins of Newport News, Va.; one sister, Eula Mae Stalls of Williamston; two brothers, Lee White of Hamilton and Urshel White of Charlotte; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Biggs Funeral Home and at other times at the home of her son, Ed Robertson, 1310 Grand Canyon Road, Williamston.
