Mrs. Roberta Mack Spencer, 65, formerly of Pantego, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003, at Merryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Antioch Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, Pantego, with elder Donald Peartree and Bishop Robert Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Church Cemetery, Pantego.
Mrs. Spencer was born in Bigalow, Ark. on March 15, 1937. She was the daughter of Lula Vella Franklin Malcum and the late Joe Malcum. She was a member of Weeping Mary Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, Pantego, and served as a Sunday school teacher and usher.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Marie Spencer of Charlotte; two sons, Thomas Earl Spencer Jr. of Pantego and Kenneth Leon Spencer of Goldsboro; seven sisters, Lula Mack of Conway, Ark., Valaria Britton of Oakland, Calif., Luella Cooper, Mary Lasker and Emmer Williams, all of Conway, Ar., Martha Williams of Little Rock, Ark. and Linda Balenton of Carrollton, Texas.; three brothers, Joe Mack Jr., Author Malcum and Clearance Malcum, both of Conway, Ark.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
The family will receive friends at 7112 Terra Ceia Road, Pantego.
Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 North Bonner Street, Washington.
