Mr. Nelson Linwood James, 44, of 8 Trident Place, Durham, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at Magnolia Gardens Nursing Center, Durham.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Bishop Daniel Boston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. James was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Nov. 13, 1958. He was the son of Bobby and Flora Staten James. He was a member of Triangle Church of Christ.
Survivors include one brother, Elliott James of Durham.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Toodle's Funeral Home, Plymouth, and at other times at the home of his uncle, Lorenzo Staten, 1726 Free Union Road, Jamesville.
