Mr. Ernest Linwood Palmer, 59, of Plymouth died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, in Washington County Hospital.
A memorial service will be conducted in the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Palmer was born in Townshend, Vt., on Nov. 25, 1943. He was the son of the late Frank M. and Irene M. Thomas Palmer. He was an Air Force veteran, having served in Vietnam. He was a retired telephone lineman for Verizon. He was married to Lolita Ferrer Palmer, who survives.
Survivors include two sons, Ernest L. Palmer Jr. of Bills Falls, Vt., and Stewart Palmer of Grand Isle, Vt.; three daughters, Alethea Johnson of Charlestown, N.H., Shelia Underwood of Chesterfield, N.H., and Tiffany Palmer of the home; four brothers, Ronald Palmer of Putney, Vt., Frank Palmer Jr. of Brattleboro, Vt., Jerry Palmer of Townshend, Vt., and Dennis Palmer of Jamica, Vt.; and two sisters, Betty Sabolevski of Townshend, Vt., and Judith Amidon of Brattleboro, Vt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rescue Inc. in Brattleboro, Vt.
Arrangements are by Horner-Walker Funeral Home, Plymouth.
