David Harper Mizelle, 63, of 1940 Jerden Thicket Road, Jamesville, died Sunday, March 2, 2003 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Poplar Chapel Church of Christ with the Rev. Ernie Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Mizelle Family Cemetery.
Mr. Mizelle was born Feb. 20, 1940 in Martin County to the late David H. Mizelle, Sr. and Ruth Ausbon Mizelle. He was a retired electrician and a member of the Poplar Chapel Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Betty W. Mizelle; one daughter, Tammie Mizelle of Jamesville; two sisters, Brenda Whitley and Norma Wesner, both of Plymouth; and one grandson.
The family will gather from 4 p.m. to 7 pm. tonight at the Poplar Chapel Church of Christ. The family will also receive friends form 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Walker Funeral Home, 414 N. Haughton St., Williamston.
