Kimmette E. Worrell

Mr. Kimmette Elliot Worrell, 47, of 829 Pine Sholls Drive, College Park, Ga., and formerly of Belhaven, died Saturday, March 22, 2003, in Atlanta, Ga.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington. Burial will follow in Broad Creek Community Cemetery, Pantego.
Mr. Worrell was born in Beaufort County on Oct. 6, 1955. He was the son of the late Bishop Richard E. Worrell and Zuradia Worrell. He attended the Beaufort County schools. He was an Army veteran. Following his military service, he was employed as Supervisor of Security-Mayor's Office in Phoenix, Ariz. and later with the Augusta, Ga. Police Department.
Survivors include one daughter, Zuradia C. Worrell of Fairfield, Ohio; one son, Kenneth E. Worrell of Fairfield, Ohio; eight sisters, Clareace Lane of Plainfield, N.J., Kareen Windley of Virginia Beach, Va., Evangelyn Howard of Belhaven, Rachelle Thomas of College Park, Ga., Deborah Woods of Atlanta, Ga., and Carroll Worrell Barnes, Angela Worrell and Tereasa Worrell Staton, all of Greenville; and four brothers, Richard Lee Worrell of Eureka, Alexander Dawson of Graham and Christopher Worrell of Albuquerque, N.M., and William Worrell of Belhaven.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Yvonne Cannon in November, 2000.
