Mr. Haywood K. Peaks, 71, of 12247 U.S. Highway 64, Williamston died on Friday, March 28, 2003 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Biggs Chapel, Williamston, with the Revs. Norman Polk and Tony Peaks. Burial will follow at Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Peaks was born on Nov. 17, 1931 in Martin County to the late John W. Peaks and Rosa Harrison.
He was a member of Everettes Christian Church. He was a lifetime employee of Barnhill Supply Company as a farm manager.
Survivors include two sons, Tony Peaks of Suffolk, Va. and Terry Peaks of Centreville, Va.
Visitation will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Biggs Funeral Home in Williamston and at other times at the home.
