Mr. Lewis Clay Robertson Sr., 89, of 307 Quebec Road, Colerain, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
Mr. Robertson was born in Bertie County on July 15, 1917. He was a lifelong member of Carpenter’s Local No. 278 in Watertown, N.Y. He retired as superintendent of Fredrick’s Construction Co. in Watertown, N.Y. He was a member and deacon at Mars Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Lewis C. Robertson Jr. of Watertown, N.Y.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and other times at the home.
