James R. “Friday” Crisp

Mr. James Roy Crisp, Sr., age 81, known to many who loved him as “Friday,” of 1463 Gerard Lane, Blounts Creek, NC, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at the home of his youngest son.
A funeral will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the Church of God of Prophecy on Clark’s Neck Road in Washington, NC officiated by Reverends Danny Edge and John Tyson. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Jeff Minges, Landon Minges and Hoyt Minges, Jr. of Pepsi Cola Bottling Company of Kinston and Reid Clark, Andrew “A.J.” Scott, Rodney Zettlemoyer of Wal-Mart of Washington will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and following the service at the home of Mr. Crisp’s son Glenn located at 4364 V.O.A. Road Washington, NC.
