Mrs. Mildred M. Little

Mrs. Mildred Mizelle Little, age 88, a former resident of Greenville, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, Washington, conducted by Pastor Jeff Manning.
Mrs. Little was born in Martin County on January 9, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Jessie Edmund Mizelle and Della Cratt Mizelle. Mrs. Little was a member of Unity Free Will Baptist Church. Mildred enjoyed her family and her Church. She loved to cook for her family and friends especially missionaries and pastors. Mildred enjoyed traveling especially to attend the annual Free Will Baptist National Conventions. She sang alto in her church choir for many years. Mildred taught V.B.S. and Good News clubs for Child Evangelism. She enjoyed her retirement years in Greenville.
On August 24, 1941, she was married to Marvin E. Little, who survives.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Marvin E. Little currently of Tallahassee, FL; two daughters, Bernadene Little Kemble of Tallahassee, FL, Phyllis Little Bass of Virginia Beach, VA; three sisters, Isabel M. Thompson of Newport News, VA, Faye M. Corey of Washington, Zylphia M. Bondeson of Goldsboro; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Little was preceded in death by four brothers, Jessie I. Mizelle, E.D. Mizelle, Ralph B. Mizelle, Glysal D. Mizelle; and one sister, Rachel M. Harrison.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Paul Funeral Home, Washington.
