Mrs. Virginia Louise Ecklin Cratch, 85, of 723 Windmill Road, Chocowinity, died Monday, March 12, 2007, at Britthaven of Havelock.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Cratch was born in Beaufort County on March 26, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Vastha Dixon Ecklin. On Dec. 25, 1939, she married Walter S. Cratch, who preceded her in death March 5, 1985. She was a housewife and farmer. She was a member of Cherry Point Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Margie Jackson of Havelock; two sons, Robert Cratch of Galax, Va., and Walter Cratch of Chocowinity and one brother, John Ecklin of Savannah, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cherry Point Church of Christ, Toy’s for Needy Outreach Program, 279 Shipman Road, Havelock, NC 28532.
