Patricia Jo Ratcliff, age 53, a resident of 5513 Botany Bay Drive, Raleigh, and formerly of Pantego, died Thursday morning, March 22, 2007, at her home.
Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007, at the chapel of Paul Funeral Home in Washington officiated by the Rev. Woodrow Freeze, III. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.
Miss Ratcliff was born in Beaufort County on July 21, 1953, daughter of Argil Windley and the late Joseph Ephraim Ratcliff, Sr. She graduated from Pungo Christian Academy and East Carolina University. She worked as a letter carrier at the North Ridge Station in Wake County from 1988 until her health began to decline.
She is survived by her mother, Argil Ratcliff of Pantego; her brother, Joseph E. Ratcliff, Jr. and his wife, Valaurie, of Harrisville, W.Va.; her nieces and nephews, Rachel, Kassie, Hali, Patricia, Joseph, Christopher, Zoe and Josiah Patrick.
The family will receive friends 2-3 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at Paul Funeral Home in Washington and other times at the home of her mother, Argil Ratcliff, 1205 Wilkinson Station Road, Pantego.
