Billy Gaston Barber, 72, of Aurora, died April 10, 2007 at Craven Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Bridgeton Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. H.M. Parson officiating. He served his country in the United States Navy and he worked as a security guard at PCS Phosphate.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherry A. Underwood and son-in-law, Paul, of Lake Placid, Fla.; his brother, David Earl Barber and wife, Glenda, of Aurora; nephew, Greg Fulton, niece Brenda Holton of New Bern; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, all of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aurora Rescue Squad, c/o Town Hall, P.O. Box 86, Aurora, NC 27806.
