Mrs. Janice Raynor Tedder, 70, of 621 Casey Drive, Grifton, died Saturday, April 28, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Rev. Gene Britt officiating. Burial will follow in Overbee Cemetery.
Mrs. Tedder was born in Johnston County on Sept. 13, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Cap and Tempie Coats Raynor. She was married to Roy Capps, who survives. She retired from DuPont after 32 years of service. She was a member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Survivors include one son, James Tedder of Farmville and two daughters, Melanie T. Arnold of Chocowinity, and Jewell T. Grimes of Grifton.
She was preceded in death by one son, Gordon Wayne Tedder and two brothers, Lawden Raynor and David Raynor.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home, Princeton.
