Mrs. Betty Sue Brown Steiner, 68, of 1045 Maurice Brown Road, Jamesville, died Thursday, May 10, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted today at 1:30 p.m. in Cedar Branch Baptist Church with the Revs. Mack Crisp and Jimmy Elks officiating. Burial will follow in Jamesville Cemetery.
Mrs. Steiner was born in Martin County on Dec. 8, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Durward Carl Brown and Annie Faye Hardison Brown. On Sept. 7, 1974, she married Paul Steiner, who survives. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Jamesville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Charlotte Hardison Elks of Williamston, Raeline Nobles of Flower Mound, Texas, and Karen Sue Ayers and Elaine Steiner Hardison, both of Jamesville; two sons, Clifton Hardison of Jamesville, and Alan Steiner of Clayton; one sister, Theresa Brown Modlin of Jamesville; two brothers, Durward Carl Brown Jr. and Larry Brown, both of Jamesville; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Biggs Funeral Home, Williamston.
