Mr. Rufus Alan Hall, age 76, a resident of 489 CC Road in Vanceboro, died on Friday, May 11, 2007 at Beaufort County Hospital.
Mr. Hall was born in Dover, Ohio on August 16, 1930 son of the late Frank Hall and the late Edith Martin Hall. Mr. Hall paid tribute to his country by serving in the United States Navy during the Korean War. After his enlistment in the Navy, Mr. Hall attended Kent State University to become an architect. He later worked for Marr-Knapp and Crawfus Associates in New Philadelphia, Ohio for over twenty-five years.
Mr. Hall is survived by one son: Ron Scott Hall and his wife Kelly of Charlotte; one brother: David Hall and his wife Jan of Ohio; and two grandchildren.
Services for the Hall family will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veteran’s Association, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076.
