Mrs. Victoria Lewis Mills, 96, of Vanceboro, died Friday May 18, 2007.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Home in Vanceboro. Burial will follow in Palmetto Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Mills was a native of Beaufort County, and had lived in Chocowinity for a number of years, before moving to Vanceboro in 1971. She was involved as a nurse’s aide with the hospital and private care at home. She was a member of Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Mills, a daughter, Grace Musselman, and a number of brothers and sisters.
She is survived by: daughter, Dorothy Mills Gaskins and husband Ed of Vanceboro; sisters, Katherine Tyson of Farmville, Retha Gorham of VA Beach, VA, Rose Lewis of Roper, NC; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Vanceboro from 6 to 8 p.m.
