SIMPSON — Mrs. Lizzie Carrow Williams, 93, died Friday, June 8, 2007.
A graveside service will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Pinewood Memorial Park by the Reverends Phillip Boykin and Calvin Heath.
Mrs. Williams was born and reared in the Grimesland and Black Jack communities and had made her home in the Simpson community for the past 60 years. She farmed with her husband for many years and was later employed at Hamilton Beach in Washington. She was a member of Black Jack Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years J. C. Williams.
She is survived by: a daughter, Irene W. Bunting and husband Herb of Simpson; a step grandson, Keith Bunting of Winterville; and a special niece, Carolyn Gaskins and husband Bud of Hudson’s Crossroads.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
