Chocowinity, NC — Mrs. Lisa Ginn Carney, 44, of 302 Barns Drive, Chocowinity, passed away, Thursday, June 21, 2007 at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2007 in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service with Pastor Phillip Jethro officiating. Burial will follow at Pamlico Memorial Gardens. Ji Paramore, Carl Paramore, Gaylen Swain, David Howard, Bruce Gray and Russell Whichard will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Hillside Funeral Service and other times at the home of her parents, Eschol K. and Patsy W. Ginn, 167 Hunter’s Glen, Washington, NC.
Mrs. Carney was born October 27, 1962 in Wayne County, NC. She was the daughter of Eschol K. Ginn and Patsy Winders Ginn. She was married to James Carney for seventeen years. She was to begin schooling at Beaufort County Community College in the fall for a cosmetology degree.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one daughter, Chelsea Danielle Carney and fiance, Ji Paramore of Chocowinity; one sister, Angela Ginn Modlin and husband, Shelly Modlin and one brother, Lawrance K. Ginn and wife, Brandy May Ginn, all of Washington; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
