Ms. Johnetta “Scooter” Alexanderia Lacy, 29, of 4748 Ariel Drive, Grimesland, died Friday, July 6, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church, Yeatesville, with Elder Sterling Tripp officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Washington.
Ms. Lacy was born in Beaufort County on Oct. 14, 1977. She was the daughter of Glenda Collins Lacy and the late Johnny Lacy Sr. She was a 1995 graduate of Northside High School, Pinetown. She was employed in the health care field. She was affiliated with Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church, Yeatesville.
Survivors include one daughter, Joh-Briana A. Lacy of the home; two sisters, Glenda D. Peele of Chocowinity, and Keisha Reddick of Pantego; and one brother, Johnny Lacy Jr. of Washington.
Viewing will take place at Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church, Yeatesville, during the funeral service.
The family will receive friends at the home of her mother, 1503 Seed Tick Neck Road, Pantego.
