Ms. Cindy Bowen Williams, 54, of 200 Santree Drive, Williamston, died Thursday, July 12, 2007, at N.C. Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Robbie Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Ms. Williams was born in Martin County on Sept. 11, 1952. She was the daughter of Lucille Goddard Cates of Williamston and the late Howard Bowen. She worked as a real estate agent with Ammons &Pittman. She was a member of Longview Baptist Church, Raleigh.
Survivors include two sons, Stuart Cowan of Greenville, and Joshua Cowan of Williamston; one daughter, Brooks Stalls of Williamston; one sister, Cathy Critcher of Williamston; one brother, David Bowen of Williamston and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at 212 Fairview Street.
