Mrs. Rosalie Cratch Woolard, 90, a Winterville resident, died Friday, June 13, 2007.
The funeral service will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel, Greenville. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Washington.
Mrs. Woolard, a native of the Woodard’s Pond community of Beaufort County, moved to Winterville in 1984. She was a member of Friends In Fellowship Christian Church in Winterville and the Quilter’s Guild in Beaufort County and Pitt County.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was a skilled seamstress and avid quilter.
Mrs. Woolard was preceded in death by her husband, Hilliard Woolard; a son, Stanley E. Woolard; a son-in-law, Shelton R. Dixon; a brother and four sisters.
She is survived by daughters Judy W. Jenkins and husband, Billy, of Greenville, Hilda W. Dixon of Winterville; son Hilliard L. Woolard of Winterville; brothers Jack Cutler of Tarboro and Maurice Cutler of Washington; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of Judy and Billy Jenkins, 1271 Allen Road, Greenville.
