Mrs. Doris Morgan Woolard

Mrs. Doris Morgan Woolard, age 78, a resident of 202 Mansfield Road, Sherwood Forest, Washington died Friday morning July 27, 2007 at Beaufort County Hospital.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2007 at Bayview Community Cemetery officiated by Rev. Jerry Brezil and Dr. Boyd Stokes.
Mrs. Woolard was born in Beaufort County on May 17, 1929, daughter of the late James Clarence Morgan and Hazel Kilby Moore Morgan. She married Fred Gray Woolard, Sr. who preceded her in death in March, 1989. Mrs. Woolard was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a very active member of Asbury United Methodist Church and the Ladies Circle.
She is survived by her children: Fred Woolard and his wife, Louise of Washington and Vickie Weaver and her husband, Ray of Wilson; her grandchildren: Gray Woolard, Daisy Woolard, Jessica Sawrey and Jennifer Willoughby; her step granddaughter: Sarah Shiver; six great grandchildren; her brother: James Clarence Morgan of Bath and her sister: Louise Paul of Jacksonville.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Saturday, July 28th at Paul Funeral Home in Washington and other times at the home of her son, Fred Gray Woolard, Jr. located at 56 Grayce Lane, Washington.
