Mrs. Willetta Marie “Pinky” Thomas, 41, of 510 Butler Ford Road, Vanceboro, died Tuesday, July 24, 2004, at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Queens Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Vanceboro with pastor Charles Sims officiating. Burial will follow at Dawson, Moye Cemetery in Vanceboro.
Mrs. Thomas was the daughter of Lorraine T. and Linwood Staten of the home. She attended schools in Washington, D.C. She worked for Patient Dept. in Crystal City, Va.
Survivors include one daughter, India Thomas of Vanceboro; and four sons, Parris Thomas, Christian Thomas, Leroy Santas and Levarin Thomas, all of Vanceboro.
The family will receive friends at the home of her aunt, Mary Lee Campbell, 9395 Main St., Vanceboro. There will be a viewing at the church two hours before the service.
Arrangements are by Tri-County Funeral Service of Ayden.
