Mr. Lawrence David “Teenie” Wilson, 91, of 601 W. 11th St., Washington, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Bethel Chapel Ministries (Bethel Chapel FWB Church) with pastor Steven Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson was born in Craven County on June 15, 1916. He was the son of the late Lawrence and Maggie Barr Wilson. He attended the Beaufort County Schools. He was employed with B.E. Singleton &Sons for more than 60 years. He was married to Helen Windley Wilson, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia A. Williams of the home, and Sara Robinson of Fayetteville; one brother, Elmer Wilson of Rochester, Mich.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Christine W. Williams and Larue W. Credle; one grandson, Travaughn L. Williams; three brothers and four sisters.
A walk-in viewing is scheduled for 4-8:30 p.m. Sunday at Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington. The family will receive friends at the home.
