Mrs. Betty L. Reddick Howard, 66, of 624 Hardin Drive, Inglewood, Calif., and formerly of Beaufort County, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Angeles, Calif.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Washington.
Mrs. Howard was born in Beaufort County on Dec. 31, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Phalia Pierce Reddick and Samuel Harvin Reddick. She was a high school graduate. She was married to Robert Howard Sr., who survives.
Survivors include one son, Robert Howard II of Inglewood, Calif.; two sisters, Carolyn R. Pigford of Durham, and Clayvorn Reddick of Washington; five brothers, William Reddick and Robert Reddick, both of Greenville, Bobby Reddick of Rockaway Park, N.Y., and Henry Reddick and Richard Reddick, both of Washington; and one grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the home of her brother, Henry Reddick, 6748 Clarks Neck Road, Washington.
