WILMAR — Mrs. Janice Hudson Stokesberry, 61, died Sunday, September 23, 2007.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Chapel in Vanceboro by the Rev. Norman Morris. Burial will follow in the Vanceboro Cemetery.
Mrs. Stokesberry was a native and lifelong resident of the Wilmar community of Beaufort County. She worked at Hamilton Beach in Washington for 12 years, and was a member of the Tabernacle Holiness Church in Vanceboro. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, who was truly loved and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her, husband of 37 years, Allen Lane Stokesberry; one daughter, Lisa S. Taylor and husband, Bill, of Wilmar; 2 grandchildren, Hailey Taylor, and Jacob Taylor, whom she babysat for the last 5 years; mother, Elver Morris Hudson, of Wilmar; two sisters, Pauline Mills, and Virginia Lewis, both of Wilmar
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 - 9 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Vanceboro, and at other times at the home of Lisa and Bill Taylor, 1900 Chandler Rd., Vanceboro NC 28586.
