Mr. Karl Clifford Thompson, 76, of Plymouth, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Plymouth Church of Christ with Bob Moulden and Buster Long officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Thompson was born in Watertown, N.Y., on Nov. 27, 1930. He was the son of the late Kenneth C. and Evelyn Straw Thompson. He was an Army veteran. He was married to Shirley Crizer Thompson, who survives. He was a retired tile specialist with Stebbins Engineering and Manufacturing Co. He was a member of Plymouth Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Virginia T. Allen and Evelyn T. Armstrong, both of Plymouth; one sister, Earlene T. Sorensen of Auburn, N.Y.; three brothers, Gordon Thompson of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Leo Thompson of Brownville, N.Y., and Larry Thompson of Watertown, N.Y.; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Plymouth Church of Christ and other times at the home.
Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
