Earlon King Daniels

Mr. Earlon King Daniels, 68, a resident of 4422 Summit Ave., Greensboro, and formerly of Williamston, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, at Beacon Place Nursing Center, Greensboro.
A funeral will be conducted at noon today at New Fellowship Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Williamston, with pastor Lula S. Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Daniels was born Feb. 8, 1933, in Everetts. He was the son of the late Alonza C. Daniels Jr. and Gussie Spruill Daniels. He was a receiving clerk with West Point-Pepperell in Hamilton for 27 years. He was a member of New Fellowship Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), where he served as a deacon. He was a Mason.
Survivors include nine children, Sharon Blair of Atlanta, Earlon M. Love of Lawton, Okla., Eddie Love of Atlanta, Earlon Daniels, Evangeline Daniels and Alton Daniels, all of Kansas City, Mo., Pam Moore of Williamston, Bryon Daniels of Greensboro and Kesley Daniels of Pinetops; one brother, William B. Jones of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one sister, Lorraine D. Jones of Attleboro, Mass.; 22 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Daniels, a brother, Alonza C. Daniels III and a sister, Mary Daniels Way.
