Mr. Donald Bradley Smithwick, 33, of 420 Colony Ave., Ahoskie, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Faith Alive Ministries, 423 Shell Road, Chesapeake, Va., with the doors being opened at 3 p.m.
Mr. Smithwick was born in Windsor on June 16, 1974. He was the son of Donald Gene and Connie Copeland Smithwick of Windsor. He was a Marine veteran, having attained the rank of sergeant first class. He was married to Sinthia Seda-Morales, who survives. He was employed with Nucor Steel as a lead caster. He was a member of the NRA. He was a member of Faith Alive Ministries.
Survivors include one daughter, Samantha Ashley Smithwick of the home; one son, Christopher Bradley Smithwick of the home; one brother, Ben Smithwick of Colerain and his grandfather, Thomas Meyers Smithwick of Merry Hill.
In lieu of flowers, a benefit account for his children has been established at State Employees Credit Union. Donations will be accepted at any branch. Contact persons are Sue Copeland or Angie Barnes (252-332-5339).
