Mrs. Mary Hodges Summerlin, 80, of Simpson, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Summerlin was born in Simpson. She was married to W.P. “Jack” Summerlin, who preceded her in death. She had worked at the Deli Kitchen for a number of years. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Jackie Dean Summerlin of Greenville; three daughters, Carolyn S. Vernon and Trish S. Worthington, both of Winterville, and Mary Jo S. Warren of Greenville; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Cary L. Hodges of Grimesland and Mack P. Hodges and Bert Hodges, both of Washington, and three sisters, Jane H. Buck of Grimesland and Ann H. Hemby and Barbara H. Wingate, both of Ayden.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home, Greenville, and other times at the home of her daughter, Trish Worthington, 1003 Worthington Road, Winterville.
