Mrs. Nellie N. Scheutzow

Mrs. Nellie Gray Nobles Scheutzow, 82, a resident of 5270 Sidney Road, Belhaven, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007 at Pungo District Hospital in Belhaven.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington and conducted by the Rev. Eric Hill and Joe Price.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Shawn Scheutzow, Todd Woolard, Christopher Price, Denny Price, Leslie Haddock Jr. and Billy Bell.
Mrs. Scheutzow was born in Chocowinity on Feb. 2, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Richard Nobles and Lillar Laughinghouse Nobles. Mrs. Scheutzow was a retired seamstress with Samson Shirt Factory. After her retirement, she worked as a homemaker and a caretaker.
On May 24, 1927, she married Charles Albert Scheutzow, who preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 1980.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela S. Haddock of Conetoe, April S. Clayton of Belhaven; two sons, Charles A. Scheutzow of Pinetops, Richard Scheutzow of Belhaven; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Paul Funeral Home in Belhaven and other times at the home of the daughter, April Clayton, at 5044 Sidney Road, Belhaven.
