Mr. Lendell C. “Bro.” Galloway, 56, of 203 Winesett Circle, Plymouth, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Temple of Christ Church, Plymouth, with Bishop Avery A. Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in Spruill Eternal Rest Cemetery, Plymouth.
Mr. Galloway was born in Craven County on May 1, 1951. He was the son of the late Dempsey W. Galloway Jr. and Clara Helen Williams Galloway. He worked as a machine operator and logger.
Survivors include three children, Lendell Nixon of Washington, Steven Hill of Plymouth and Nicole Alexandre of Mount Vernon, N.Y.; one grandchild; three sisters, Dinah G. Satterthwaite of Washington, and Mae Daniels and Mary Daniels, both of Greenville; and one brother, Guy Lester Galloway of Plymouth.
The family will receive friends today from 5-7 p.m. at Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper.
