Mr. Roy Lee Williams, 67, of 4465 Old Blounts Creek Road, Blounts Creek, and formerly of Grifton, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Riverside Christian Church cemetery, Greenville, with pastor Ken Cash officiating.
Mr. Williams was born in Pitt County on Aug. 19, 1940. He was the son of Rufus and Iva Mae Manning Williams.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Meekins of Washington and Gay Whitaker of Chocowinity; two sons, Lee Williams of Washington and Michael Williams of Chocowinity; one brother, Randol Williams of Washington; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 6-7:30 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home, Washington, and other times at the home of his daughter, Deborah Meekins, 303 E. 12th St., Washington.
