Mrs. Eris Dail Cahoon Williams, 82, of 95 Golden St., Engelhard, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, at the home of her daughter in the Ponzer community.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the family plot in Fulford Cemetery with Russell Smith and Doug Gibbs officiating.
Mrs. Williams was born in Fairfield on Aug. 3, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Closs E. and Sunie Williams Cahoon. She was married to Bernie Carrow Williams, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Cathy W. Clayton of Ponzer; two sons, Glen B. Williams, a resident of Cross Creek Health Care, and Daniel A. Williams of Pinetown; two brothers, Henry Cahoon, a resident of Cross Creek Health Care, and Lancy Cahoon of Pinetown; one sister, Leona Hardison, a resident of Cross Creek Health Care; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Steve C. Williams; one brother, Joseph B. Cahoon and one sister, Mildred W. Hodges.
The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Bryan Funeral Service in Swan Quarter.
