Mrs. Eva Lucille Swain Edmondson, 86, of Williamston, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Williamston Rehabilitation Center.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery with Paul Edwards officiating.
Mrs. Edmondson was born in Martin County on Aug. 28, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Cleopholous and Myrtle Parisher Swain. She was married to Robert Leroy Edmondson, who preceded her in death. She was a retired social director with Martin Community Action.
Survivors include three daughters, Jill E. Pierce of Williamston, Myrtle Ann E. Parisher of New Bern and Sue Ellen Pierce of Cofield; one stepdaughter, Helen Davis of Williamston; one son, Larry Hugh Edmondson of Lexington; two sisters, Helen Williams of Williamston and Cleo Campbell of Chesapeake, Va.; two brothers, Norman Swain and Bob Swain, both of Williamston; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6-7:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Williamston, and other times at the home of her daughter, Jill Pierce, 2295 Garrett Road, Williamston.
