Mrs. Luddie Mae Waters Moore, 87, a resident of Britthaven of Washington, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at Britthaven.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Matthew Free Will Baptist Church, Bonnerton, with Elder Demetrius Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Blounts Creek.
Mrs. Moore was born in Beaufort County on July 13, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Alice Moore Waters. She attended the Beaufort County Schools. On Dec. 22, 1943, she married Ralph Swain Moore, who preceded her in death May 6, 1997. She retired as a housekeeper with PCS Phosphate Co., Aurora. She was a member of St. Matthew Free Will Baptist Church, where she served as a former choir member.
Survivors include one son, Ralph Moore of Washington and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends today from 5-8 p.m. at Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington, and other times at the home of her son, 103 Anderson Place, Washington.
