Mrs. Ida Mae Alexander Liverman, 64, of 257 Elementary School Road, Columbia, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at Chowan Hospital in Edenton.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Salem Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Lawrence Satchell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Liverman was born in Tyrrell County on May 25, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Annie Perkins and William Alexander. She was married to David C. Liverman, who survives. She had been employed as a maid at a hotel.
Survivors include one son, David E. Liverman of Columbia; one daughter, Jonitta L. Harris of Suffolk, Va.; one step daughter, Jacqueline Basnight of Charlotte; one sister, Wilma Basnight of Columbia; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Rowsom Funeral Home, Columbia.
