Mr. Gary DeWayne Scott, age 37, of Washington, died Friday, December 14, 2007.
A memorial service will be held 9 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2007 at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home, Washington conducted by Pastor Travis Boyd.
Mr. Scott was born in Bakersfield, Calif. on February 17, 1970. He was the son of Paula Kay Waldo Scott Hall and the late Gary Wayne Scott. Mr. Scott was an automotive mechanic.
Mr. Scott is survived by his wife, Rebecca Scott of the home; his mother, Paula Kay Waldo Hall of Bakersfield, Calif.; a daughter, Jessica Scott of Shelbyville, Tenn.; a son, Cameron Scott of Shebyville, Tenn.; and four stepsons, Chris Lemley, Shilo Hartley, Hunter Hartley, and Dillon Bullock all of Washington.
In addition to his father, Mr. Scott was preceded in death by a sister, Melissa Hall and his step- father, Steve Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
