Mr. Gregory Earl Stanley, 47, of 816 Edward St., Belhaven, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Northside High School with Elder James Stanley Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Northside Cemetery, Belhaven.
Mr. Stanley was born in Beaufort County on Nov. 1, 1960. He was the son of Robert and Queen Carter Stanley. He attended the Beaufort County Schools. He was an Army veteran. He was married to Cynthia Tatum Stanley, who survives. He was employed with Stanadyne of Washington until his health declined. He was a member of Saint Miller Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Gregvon Satterthwaite of Belhaven, and Kuante Stanley and Xavier Stanley, both of Greenville; five grandchildren; one sister, Neter F. Stanley of Belhaven and one brother, Tony S. Stanley of Belhaven.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8 p.m. at Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington, and other times at the home of his parents, 629 U.S. Highway 264 East bypass, Belhaven.
