Mrs. Alice Mae Rhamy Weber, 79, of 16504 County Road Z, Napoleon, Ohio, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007 at Beaufort County Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon, Ohio, with pastor Judy officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance, Ohio.
Mrs. Weber was born in Baxter County, Alaska on Oct. 6, 1928 daughter of the late Roy Benjamin Rhamy and the late Zella Mae Ellison Rhamy. She married Harold Paul Weber on Aug. 9, 1948. Mrs. Weber was a member and volunteer at the Henry County Senior Center and a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Holgate, Ohio. She and her husband opened their home to children by being foster parents.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Clarence Weber of McClure, Ohio, Ronald Weber of Napoleon, Ohio, and Roger Weber of Deshler, Ohio; four daughters, Linda Hockenberry of Malinta, Ohio, Shirley Maynard of Miller City, Ohio, Joyce Stewart of Belleview, Fla. and Wanda Stone of Washington; two brothers, Ned Rhamy of Napoleon, Ohio, and Ted Rhamy of Asheboro; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Rhamy and two sisters, Ella Faye Thompson and Helen Rae Rhamy.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday at Rodenberger Funeral Home of Napoleon, Ohio, and at other times at the home of her son, Ronald Weber, 932 East Grove Way Drive, Napoleon, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Henry County Senior Center or to Henry County Transport Service, 130 East Clinton St., Napoleon, Ohio 43545.
