WASHINGTON — Mrs. Doris Juanita Adams Mayo, 84, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Britthaven of Washington.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in Wesley Cemetery on Hwy. 33 West, Chocowinity. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mayo was preceded in death by her husband, Major F. Mayo, and son, James F. Mayo.
She is survived by: granddaughter, Lisa Dunaway and great-grandson, Tyler, both of Gastonia; five sisters; one brother, all of Beaufort County and surrounding areas.
