Mrs. Ruby Perry Thrower, 84, of Williamston, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007.
A funeral will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home with the Rev. Robbie Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Thrower was born in Halifax County on Sept. 20, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Bud and Myrtice Park Perry. She was married to Jimmy Thrower, who preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1999. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, James Walton Thrower Jr. of Williamston; one sister, Mary West of Littleton; one brother, Wilbur Perry of Manchester, N.H. and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today from 1-2 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home.
