Mrs. Lucille Harris Hutchins Peele, age 72, a resident of Washington, died Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Beaufort County Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Oakdale Cemetery, conducted by Derik Davis.
Mrs. Peele was born in Beaufort County on May 19, 1935. She was the daughter of the late David Richard Harris and Cassie Frances Woolard Harris. Mrs. Peele was self employed with her husband in L &E Auto as long as their health permitted.
Mrs. Peele was married to Edward “Ed” Peele, who survives.
Surviving with her husband are one daughter, Carol Hutchins May Stables of Suffolk, Va.; one son, Charles Peele of New Orleans, LA; and one grandson, Anthony Clark of Winterville.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Peele was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Sue Hutchins Clark; a grandson, George May; three sisters, Marlene Barber, Annie Laura Nobles, Alma Keech; one brother, Leroy Wynne; and loving step father, Woodie Miller.
