Edward “Terry” Suggs

Mr. Edward “Terry” Suggs, age 63, of 2424 Gray Rd., Chocowinity died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at the Beaufort County Hospital.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2008 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens and will be officiated by Ola Forbes. Joe Hodges, Jack McGowan, Royce Hamm, Doug Harrison, Robbie Bullock and Bobby Perry will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Suggs was born in Durham, NC on February 19, 1944 to the late Clyde Edward Suggs and Gladys Kerr Suggs. On January 18, 1991 he married Frankie Hodges who survives. He served in the United States Army for 4 years during the Vietnam War. He was retired from PCS after 30 years of service. He attended Memorial Free Will Baptist Church, was a member of Southside Hunting Club and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife Frankie of the home, one daughter; Lisa McGowan and husband Freddie of Chocowinity, one sister, Bonnie Carden and husband Tommy of Durham, one brother; Ted Suggs and wife Linda of Durham and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and other times at the home.
