Margaret T. Cartwright, of Hamilton NC, passed away from medical complications on Saturday, January 5, 2008 in San Antonio, TX.
She was born in Martin County, NC in November 1949 to William R. and Nannie L. White. She grew up in North Carolina and graduated from Oak City High School. In recent years she lived in Arizona and Texas to be closer to her son.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Nannie, and her brother Ronnie. She is survived by her son, Chad and Missy of San Antonio, TX, brother Bill and Faye of Gainesville GA, sister-in-law Dondra of Cartersville, GA, and her first grandchild due in April.
Margaret’s kind and loving presence will be sorely missed, but her spirit will live on in those who loved her. The family will receive friends Friday, January 11th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Her memorial will be held Saturday, January 12th at 11 a.m. Both services celebrating her life will be at the Hamilton Baptist Church, 403 N Front St, Hamilton, NC 27840.
